Secure Sidekick helps users review suspicious emails, text messages, and online messages for common scam warning signs.
What we collect
When you use Secure Sidekick, we may collect the message you submit for analysis, your email address if you sign in, usage activity such as the number of checks performed, and payment/subscription status provided by Stripe.
Do not submit sensitive information
Please do not paste passwords, Social Security numbers, banking credentials, credit card numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive personal information into Secure Sidekick.
How we use data
We use submitted messages to provide scam-risk analysis, improve the service, prevent abuse, track monthly usage limits, and manage subscriptions.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Secure Sidekick does not store full credit card numbers.
Third-party services
Secure Sidekick uses service providers including OpenAI for message analysis, Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, and Vercel for hosting.
No guarantee
Secure Sidekick provides guidance, not guarantees. Scam detection is not perfect, and users should use caution when clicking links, replying to messages, calling phone numbers, or sending money.
